Football Families:  Welcome to the 2017 Season of Hurricane Football.

Thank you to all that attended Mini-Camp. It was a great success!! Kids got to meet their coaches and begin getting used to the rigor and fun of football.

Also, thank you to all that picked up their equipment at equipment handout.  If you have not picked up your equipment we will be in touch with further instructions.

July 31st is the first day of practice for our football players and cheerleaders!

From July 31-Aug 18 Football will practice Monday - Friday       Cheer will practice Monday - Thursday

From Aug 21 - rest of the season both Football and Cheer will practice 3 days a week.  The days have yet to be determined.

Please welcome this years coaches.  If they haven't been in contact with you just yet, they soon will.

The first two days of practice will be "no contact". Remember to bring a water bottle and wear cup and cleats.   You may want to spray them with bug spray before they get to practice.  Make sure your child uses the bathroom beforehand and also has a light meal.  It is important to keep them hydrated and nourished. They should drink 16 oz of water within two hours before they get to practice. They will play better and have more success if they are well hydrated.

Also, please bring copies of birth certificates (for 1st year players) and physicals as soon as possible.  Please bring this in an envelope with your child's name and team number on the front and turn it into your team parent.

Enjoy your first day and please don't hesitate to contact me or another board member with questions.

Go 'Canes!
